Filter and drill down Autodesk Forma project data

Filter an Autodesk Forma snapshot, read a card, then drill down into the records behind the metric.

Updated Flowzito ↗

When analyzing Autodesk Forma data, a dashboard card only has meaning together with its snapshot and active filters. Flowzito lets you narrow the dataset and inspect contributing records through View details.

1. Pick the snapshot and tab

Open the downloaded dataset, verify project and timestamp, then choose the tab for the service you want to analyze, such as Issues or Reviews.

2. Apply a filter

Open filter in the Flowzito Dashboard

Use filters to narrow the data before drilling down.

Open the relevant filter controls. For example, on Issues, enable Open only to keep open issues in scope. Reread the cards after changing a filter because the displayed counts are recalculated for that scope.

3. Choose a card to investigate

Choose a card that answers the question you are checking. After enabling Open only, for example, inspect an Issues card that counts the remaining open items.

4. View details

View details opens the records behind the summary count.

Use View details to open the items behind the card. In the Issues example above, this lets you inspect the individual issues instead of relying only on the total.

If the numbers still look wrong, check snapshot time, service tab, active filters, and detail rows in that order. Request a newer snapshot through Data Connector sync when freshness is the issue.
