When a member cannot see an Autodesk Forma folder, the cause may sit above that folder or come through Role and Company assignments. Direct access is assigned on the folder, inherited access comes from its parent, and effective access is the resulting level the user actually receives.
1. Confirm the person and project
Verify the current Flowzito project, then run User Permission Inspector with the member email. Resolve any project mismatch first.
2. Compare the folder with its parent
Check effective access on the missing folder and its parent. A change at that boundary points to a direct assignment or inheritance transition worth investigating. Changes view helps locate those transitions.

3. Check User, Role, and Company
A user can receive access through all three subject types. No direct User row does not prove there is no access; a Role or Company can still contribute to effective access.
4. Separate inherited from direct access
A lower direct assignment does not erase a higher inherited grant. Flowzito blocks a desired level below inherited access because the requested effective result cannot be produced that way.
5. Change permissions only after diagnosis
Inspector is read-only. Once the affected folder and subject are clear, use Manage folder permissions, preview the operation, then apply it.
If an inherited source is unknown, inspect the parent branch and Role/Company assignments before reaching a conclusion.
